Chandrayaan-3 will land Successfully, isro chief says no need to worry

On Sunday, August 6, the spaceship began circling the Moon.

It first settled into an orbit that brought it as close as 164 kilometers and as far as 18,074 kilometers from the Moon.

After that, it smoothly adjusted its path and settled into a wider orbit, measuring 170 kilometers by 4,313 kilometers.

The next planned move for the spaceship is set to happen today, between 1 PM and 2 PM IST.

Two more adjustments are scheduled for August 14 and August 15. These shifts will guide the spaceship towards its final destination, a cozy orbit of 100 kilometers by 100 kilometers.

Once the spaceship reaches this last orbit, it will start a slow-down process known as "deboosting."

During this phase, the lander module will detach from the spaceship and gently touch down on the Moon's surface.

This exciting landing is planned for August 23.
